Lachha parathas
Hare Krsna! Lachha parathas are flaky layered parathas made with wheat flour. Served with desired Sabzi (vegetable curry) or Raita What you need is regular chapati dough, it can be turned into different delicacies. Unlike white flour, wheat flour doesn't hold the layers without ghee+flour paste, otherwise the paratha won't form layers. Equal amounts of ghee and Rice flour or corn flour mix well to form a thick paste. Roll the dough into little thin than regular paratha. Apply the paste evenly, gather into pleats, swirl and tuck it under. Again roll gently into a slightly thicker paratha. Cook on the preheated griddle, filp in between and add ghee to make it even crisp. Take out into rolling board, crush with your hands to open up the layers. Repeat the same with remaining dough.
